2026 National Convention Reservation Instructions
IMPORTANT!
Carefully read the information below to familiarize yourself with the (3) different room types and locations at the El Conquistador Resort. Note: The room rates are the same for all rooms in the UPMA Block.
UPMA Room Rate
- Room with 1 king bed - $219/night
- Room with 2 queen beds - $219/night
There is no charge for children sixteen (16) years of age and under, sharing the same room as the parents and using existing bedding. There will be an additional charge for forty dollars ($40.00) for the third and forty dollars ($40.00) for the fourth adult seventeen (17) years of age or older in a room. The maximum number of persons per room is four (4).
UPMA rates are available until July 10, 2026 or until the room block is sold out, whichever comes first. The group rate is offered 5 days before and 3 days after the event dates based on availability. To reserve extended dates, book your room for the event dates in the UPMA block first, then contact the El Conquistador Resort reservations department (reservations@elconresort.com) to request your extended dates.
Connecting Room Fee
The $125.00 connecting rooms fee will be waived for guests booking rooms in the UPMA room block.
Deposit Required
A one-night room and tax deposit is required upon booking. The deposit is refundable for cancellations received by April 1, 2026. Starting April 2, 2026, refunds are not available.
Mandatory Resort Charges
In addition to the room rate, the following fees will be assessed.
- Daily housekeeping fee of $3/day plus taxes (total fee $3.35 per day). There is no need to tip.
- One time bellman fee of $10/person (total fee $11.15 per person). Bellman fee includes round-trip luggage service upon arrival and departure from the resort. There is no need to tip. Be sure to use this service.
- Daily resort fee of $35/day plus taxes (total fee $38.15 per day); discounted from $65/day for guests booking in the UPMA room block. Resort fee includes wi-fi, local and (800) toll-free calls, access to Palomino Island, Coqui Water Park and pools.
Please note that the hotel reservations page may state something different, however UPMA has secured a discounted resort fee rate of $35/day which will be honored for guests booking in the UPMA block.

La Marina
Located at La Marina Village, on the lower level, the renovated Marina Deluxe rooms offer guests a magnificent Mediterranean setting with amazing ocean vistas. These guest rooms are the furthest from the meeting space and require that you take the Funicular to reach the upper level.

Las Brisas
Located on the upper level, adjacent to the lobby, the Las Brisas rooms offer ocean views that are among the most sought-after in Puerto Rico. Step out onto your private balcony and take in views of the Caribbean from 300 feet above the sea. These rooms have been refurbished, preserving their original charm while enhancing comfort. The bathrooms in these rooms have a sunken tub/shower combination with a significant step down and should not be selected by guests with any mobility challenges. These rooms are located in the same building as the meeting space.

Las Vistas
Located on our upper level adjacent to the Arrival Plaza, the renovated Las Vistas rooms offer magnificent ocean views or beautiful garden views from 300 feet above. These rooms are located near the resort entrance and are relatively close to the meeting space.

Cancellation Policy
After April 2, 2026, refunds are not available.
Check-in time starts at 4:00 PM. Check-out time is 11:00 AM.
Guests arriving before 4:00 PM will be accommodated as rooms become available.
The Bell Services staff can arrange to check baggage for those arriving early when rooms are unavailable and for guest attending functions on departure day.
Based on availability, you may extend your check out (for standard guest rooms):
- Late check-out until 2:00 PM is $65 plus applicable taxes
- Late check-out until 4:00 PM is $100 plus applicable taxes
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the registration cancellation policy?
Cancellation requests must be submitted via email to UPMA@crispevents.me. Requests received on or before July 13, 2026 will be assessed a $50 cancellation fee per person. Cancellations received on or after July 14, 2026 will not receive a refund. Tickets for cancelled registrants are not available for use by other registrants. Registration transfers (name changes) are not permitted.
What airport should I fly in to and how far is it from the airport to the hotel?
Luis Munoz Marin International Airport in San Juan is 34 miles from the El Conquistador Resort.

What are the parking fees at the El Conquistador Resort?
Self Parking is $10/day per vehicle plus tax for guests who book in the UPMA block. This is reduced from $15/day. Valet parking is $20/day per vehicle plus tax for guests who book in the UPMA block. This is reduced from $25/day.
Can I rent a car onsite at the El Conquistador Resort?
Yes, there is a Hertz Ret-A-Car onsite at the resort. Plan ahead and book in advance online or call 939-269-2559.
I want to make changes to my hotel reservation. How do I do this?
To make changes to your reservation, contact the El Conquistador Resort reservations department (reservations@elconresort.com). The group rate is offered 5 days before and 3 days after the event dates based on availability. How do I change the name on my hotel reservation?
For those who need to change the name on their reservation, email reservations@elconresort.com to request the change. Alternately, you may reply back to the confirmation letter. Reservation name changes are permitted up to 48 hours prior to arrival date.
