UPMA Announces Staffing Opportunities at the UPMA National Office

 

Beginning January 1, 2025, there will be some staffing changes at the UPMA National Office in Alexandria, Virginia.

To find qualified candidates, President-elect Tony Leonardi is seeking applicants for three positions. The first position is that of Executive Director, the second is for a Membership Director and the third is for an individual to serve as the Executive Assistant and Office Administrator.

Currently, the positions of Executive Director and Membership Director are only open to active members of UPMA. The Executive Assistant/Office Administrator position is open to UMPA members that have retired from the Postal Service, or who will be retiring on January 1, 2025, when all three of these positions begin their employment with UPMA.

Below you will find links to the job descriptions which contain all the application information as well as the listing of duties and responsibilities for each position. To apply you simply need to send a letter of introduction and desire to hold the position, with your qualifications, to President-elect Leonardi (tonyupmafl@gmai.com) and the current Executive Director, Dan Heins (dheins@unitedpma.org) before the application deadline.

The application deadline is Friday, September 27, 2024, at 9 PM EDT. Interviews for these positions will take place between Monday, September 30th, and Wednesday, October 2, 2024. Once all the applications have been received you will be contacted to set up a time for your interview.
