Below you will find two different pieces of information. One has to do with the mitigating factors process and the other has to do with the mitigating factors submission timeline. The letter regarding the release of the information was directed to the employees and leadership at Postal Service Headquarter where it instructs them to contact Erica Hayton. You are NOT, I repeat NOT to contact Erica Hayton. If you have any questions you are to CONTACT YOUR MANAGER for further instruction, or for guidance. If necessary, you can also direct questions to us here at the National Office and we will do our best to assist you in any way we can.

As always remember that the mitigating factor that you are submitting for consideration must move your composite score enough to move you into the next block on the matrix. So, if you are at 3.25 and the change is only going to move you to 3.35 that is not enough; however, if your score is 3.45 and it moves you to 3.55, then it will indeed move you that one block. In order to move to the next block your score must be at .5, or above.   For instance, 2.5, 3.5, etc.

Please note that the submission process does not open until November 4, 2019.
